The Rogue Valley around Medford and Ashland has a very moderate climate. When the spring rains keep you from getting out riding at home, Ashland is probably enjoying nice weather. And when the fall cold and rain start to hit, Ashland is probably still having nice weather.

This tour is all about taking a break from the weather at home to enjoy some early/late season riding around Ashland and the Rogue Valley. A challenging ride during the day, wine tasting in the afternoon and wonderful dinners at the restaurants in town.

This tour is a series of day rides based out of the Lithia Springs Inn in Ashland. The daily rides explore the Rogue Valley, the Applegate Valley, and the hills around Ashland. Each ride is 40 to 50 miles and the rides range from easy to expert. Extended mileage options are available for each ride.

 


Our SAG wagon will accompany the group on each ride to provide full support including a lunch and a ride to those who weren't quite ready for this ride.

The Lithia Springs Inn has a nice country ambiance with beautiful gardens. Our rooms have large soaking tubs in them so that you can soak in the spring fed mineral waters. After a wine tasting at the Inn our bus will shuttle the group to dinner Ashland or Jacksonville. After dinner the group may opt to go to a play in Ashland or a concert in at the Britt Festival Jacksonville.

Options for this trip include the Shakespeare Plays and Britt Festival Concerts mentioned above. If weather allows camping options are also available. Camping for one or more nights increases the ride options significantly.
